The Best Grilled Chicken Marinade!
In the summer, the very best food comes from the grill. I love being able to cook outside!
We made grilled chicken and veggies the other day using this marinade. We all loved it and it will be my go-to going forward.
I don't measure much, so feel free to adjust as needed! I think the key to a good marinade is how long you actually let it marinade. Longer is always better.
I put salt and pepper all over the chicken and then placed it in a bowl. I then poured the following ingredients and mixed it all around making sure every piece was thoroughly covered. I let it rest about 40 minutes.
Grilled Chicken Marinade for about 2 pounds of chicken:
- Olive oil - about 3/4 - 1 cup
- Lemon Juice - juice of 1 lemon ~ 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves (I used minced garlic from a jar to speed things up)
- Coconut Aminos - 1-2 tablespoons
- Balsamic Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and Pepper - I put salt and pepper all over the chicken before marinading and then added just a small amount to the overall marinade
