The Best Food at all 4 Disney Parks!

We may have planned this trip last minute, but that wasn't going to stop me from having great food. Typically, advanced dining reservations open up 60 days in advance. However, plans change and things open up all the time! If you want the least amount of stress about dinner reservations then I recommend making them right when you can. But if you're planning a trip with less time than that, don't worry! You will still eat well.

Here are my recommendations for the best food at all 4 Disney parks. We were traveling as a group of 6 with 2 littles, so that factored into all my decisions. The best restaurants for me might be slightly different for you.

Hollywood Studios

The best walk up dining is Docking 7 Bay in Batuu. No ADR's needed. :)

However, we were in Toy Story Land when the kids got hungry so we ended up eating at Woody's Lunch Box and it was perfect for what we needed at that time. There wasn't much seating and we ate standing up while the kids ate in the stroller. The food was quick and good. Just what we needed before moving on to the rides!

The kids fell asleep in their stroller and we were lucky enough to snag a walk-up at Oga's Cantina, a fun bar in Batuu. We waited just a few minutes and had a booth with space for the sleeping babes. It was perfect! I highly recommend you go to this place! They have fun drinks for adults and kids.

One place that I tried to get reservations at was the Sci-Fi Dinner Theatre. I thought the kids (especially Maxwell) would love eating in a car. Walk-up reservations get a picnic table vs a car, so it didn't work out but I think that was for the best. I'm not sure what movies they were showing and didn't want the kids to be scared.

Hollywood and Vine - I've heard great things. In the morning it is character dining with Disney Jr pals, and in the afternoon, it is Minnie Mouse. We had other character dining planned so I didn't think this was necessary. We also met the Disney Jr pals and Minnie mouse many other times.

I sent my in-laws to Brown Derby on their extra day and they had a great time.

There is also 50's Prime Time Cafe, but I didn't really want a waiter hassling my kids to eat all their food. I've followed baby led weaning since 6 months and have never done that. However, if that's your vibe, I hear it can be a fun place to eat.

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom has great food!

We went to Animal Kingdom twice, once at night and once during the day.

At night, we got walk up reservations at Nomad Lounge, which is attached to Tiffins. Tiffins is signature dining, and I didn't think that was a good fit for 2 littles after a long day. The lounge was PERFECT! Low coffee table style tables and no back chairs (more like foot stools) were great for the kids. We didn't feel bad about them not sitting still. They were able to walk around and look out the windows and we had great food and drinks. I highly recommend this place. You can get Sanaa's signature bread service here, too, which is a must!

For day time, we had reservations for Tusker House! It is character dining with Mickey, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy and we all absolutely loved it. The food is typically buffet, but due to COVID, it is served family style and it was delicious. I hope it always stays that way! I would highly suggest this as well. We had the best time.

I wanted to make it to Pongu Pongu and Harambe Market, but it just didn't work out for us. I've heard great things! Both are walk-up style. No ADR's needed.

Magic Kingdom

We have eaten at Be Our Guest in the past and had a great experience. I highly recommend it! Only the Beast is there. You can meet Belle in Epcot. The food and service were great and it is just a fun ambiance.

Cinderella's Royal Table was available for walk-ups for parties of 4 or less while we were there so it wasn't an option for us. I would have done it if it were. Even though Cinderella is not there, I think it would be fun and want to get there eventually.

We ate at The Crystal Palace at night and it was perfect. Our reservations were for 815pm and we got seated closer to 830. They actually stop taking guests at that time so there aren't many people. It is right in front of the castle, and while you can't see the entire castle due to trees, you can see 80% from their porch. We started eating and then went out of the patio for the show and fireworks at 9pm and it was awesome. No crowd on the porch because it is just for restaurant guests and most everyone left by this point. We were then able to return to our seats to finish dessert and champagne while letting the crowds thin out. It was the ideal end to our evening. The fireworks show really is magical.

Aloha Isle by the magic carpets has the dole whip, which is a must. :)

I've eaten at many of the quick service restaurants in the past and they are all just ok. I always have plenty of snacks and sandwiches to get through Magic Kingdom if you don't plan on park hopping.

If you want a good sit down lunch on your Magic Kingdom day, I recommend taking the monorail to Epcot during the lunch hours to get a drink and snacks there.

Epcot

I have only ever been to Epcot during their festivals, which always have extra outdoor kitchens set up. There is no shortage of food there, but if you want table service, you need a reservation. You can always check out the walk up availability on the app.

Space 220 is a new restaurant that has great reviews. I read kids weren't allowed in the lounge so I didn't make reservations ahead, but they said they were when we arrived. We decided against waiting for a table here because it was prime dinner time and the kids needed to eat, but if you can get a reservation here, I highly recommend it!

Spice Road Table is in Morocco and it is great for a mid-day snack and light lunch. They have small plates and covered seating by the water. We loved it before park hopping back to Magic Kingdom.

Via Napoli is authentic Italian pizza and pasta if you are wanting something like that! They also have a by-the-slice window but it isn't traditional Italian pizza like they serve in the restaurant.

I love trying fun things at all the outdoor kitchen as I walk by. There is also always Mexico, which is never bad food.
